Write about five blessings in your life.
I am happy that I get the chance to see my little brothers grow up into amazing young men. My mom is a saint to put up with all of us, especially me, when I am feeling restless and cranky due to a lack of a project to work on. Last but not least, my dad is a hard working man who gives 110% to make sure his family has food to eat every day and a place to live. Happy Father’s Day!
We will have 3 years of being married this December. Last month was our anniversary of 6 years of dating and knowing each other. Time flies when you are in love! What more can I say without getting overly mushy? He’s a pretty cool guy with a really cute smile. I’m so glad I get to call him mine!
I am so thankful to have wonderful in-laws. Not many people are able to say that they get along well with theirs. My mother-in-law is very caring and kind to me. She makes sure to have food on hand that I can eat, and gives me beautiful dresses. My father-in-law is so dependable and patient. He is always willing to help.
This ball of fluff is my Lucy! She greets us at the door with so much enthusiasm that it brightens our mood. All she wants is to be cuddled and petted the entire day. She likes to sniff flowers, hates getting wet, and loves cheese. If you have heard that dogs resemble their owners, you would know that it’s very true in Lucy’s case. I’ll make you guess who.
My church is my extended family. It’s a place to learn about the extent of God’s love for each and everyone one of us. It’s a challenge to get out of my comfort zone and answer God’s calling. It’s a movement to reach out to the community and make a difference. It’s a home to make lasting friendships. I have met so many awesome people here over the years.
